Meet Victoria
Victoria Barber Emery is a developmental editor, humor writer, and marketing strategist with a deep understanding of both craft and communication—story on the page and story in the world.
She began her career as a business and legal reporter for Gannett, American City Business Journals, and the Associated Press, then shifted her focus to guiding writers through the creative process. She has taught writing and grammar at Miami University and edited everything from memoirs and true crime to websites, marketing campaigns, and nonfiction books.
Victoria brings narrative insight, journalistic precision, and strategic clarity to every project. Her work helps authors shape stories that resonate—and reach the readers they’re meant for.
